Homebound Ministry
Homebound Ministry consists of a number of services to
senior adults in our parish.
•
Any
senior parishioner who is unable to attend Mass because of
illness, surgery, or disability may request Communion be
brought to their home or a care facility, either weekly or
on a one time basis.
• Homebound
parishioners or those who are in a care facility who would
like to remain in touch with St. Monica, may request visits
from Homebound Ministry.
•
Rides to
weekend Masses are available for seniors who are living
independently, but no longer drive.
•
Although
Homebound Ministry can provide no nursing services, they
will come to your home to relieve a caregiver for short
periods of time, if asked. This can enable the caregiver to
go to Mass, get groceries, or run short-term errands.
To request any of these services or to volunteer to be a
part of this ministry, contact Deacon Jerry Rakosky
at
jrakosky@cox.net,
