Homebound Ministry

Homebound Ministry consists of a number of services to senior adults in our parish.

Any senior parishioner who is unable to attend Mass because of illness, surgery, or disability may request Communion be brought to their home or a care facility, either weekly or on a one time basis.

Homebound parishioners or those who are in a care facility who would like to remain in touch with St. Monica, may request visits from Homebound Ministry.

Rides to weekend Masses are available for seniors who are living independently, but no longer drive.

Although Homebound Ministry can provide no nursing services, they will come to your home to relieve a caregiver for short periods of time, if asked. This can enable the caregiver to go to Mass, get groceries, or run short-term errands.

To request any of these services or to volunteer to be a part of this ministry, contact Deacon Jerry Rakosky at
jrakosky@cox.net, 341-2805, or Terri Marschik at tmarschik@cox.net, 340-5144.
