SocMins
Our goal is to promote organized efforts to advance human welfare. We presently do this through the following projects:

• Parish Baby Shower (Feb./March) - New baby items are collected from parishioners and donated to Birth Choice, Infant Crisis Center, Holy Family Home, and Rose Home

• Giving Tree (Dec.) - Collect new Christmas gifts and distribute them to local agencies such as Catholic Charities, Citizens Caring for Children, Traveler's Aid, and Santa Cause.

• Monthly food collection for Hope Center.

• Allocation of funds from parish tithe to charities that are local and in developing countries (for example, see Peru Ministry in sidebar)

All parishioners are welcome. The committee meets at 7 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of February, March, June, September, and November in St. Michael Room.
